The two animals down here is a He goat (Thenge) and a Fattened Ram (Goima) which have to walk into the compound led by brothers of the man whose daughter is being sought for in marriage.

Discussions were done inside the house and if you are not familiar with the Kikuyu Traditions, here is a snippet.
The Visitors who are the Guys side are served with Something to eat (- “Ngaragu ndihoyagwo uhuro” – ) and then asked if there is anything else they want and so the negotiations start.
The host (From the girls Side)will then get the list which had been written during the initial visit ( Riria matariirwo miiti) and will start receiving item after item.
Finally the girl is called and asked , “Uyu niwe ? . . . Njohi ino no tuminyue ? . . Ungi angigoka turige ? . . et al
It is in my culture of photography to ensure that i do very nice portraits from the day since majority of the participants have donned in a special way.
I have two opportunities to do that and its either before the ceremonies start or after. ( After is always tricky….) So on this particular day we had some time with the bride and her bevy of beauties’ and we captured some nice shots….. enjoy
The normal circumstances is that the negotiation that happened were supposed to happen in the afternoon but these two families had decided that they want the afternoon to be about just food…dance and more merry
